trouble-shoot Colt Pocket .25

I have a relatively nice pistol is decent condition. Everything appears to work fine except ejecting brass after firing.
It will eject all shells when manually racking the slide. But will never eject a spent case after firing. The case hangs before it is free from the port. Everytime. I have replaced the recoil and mainsprings with no change. The gun is well used so I assume it used to function fine, meaning I would not expect the ejection port to be too small. Besides, it will eject an unfired cartridge fine when manually racked.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you using fresh ammo? Do you hold the gun securely without "limp wristing"? Does any part of your hand rub the slide on firing? A quick test is to let a more experienced shooter fire the gun to see if he has the same problem.

Hello Check for kinked recoil spring bind of slide to frame or lack of oil. also clean the gunk out of the extractor hook and then clean the chamber VERY well. When the round is fired in a dirty chamber it will stick in the chamber and cause ejection problems.
