My 10/22 cycles only with hV ammo. Is there a possibilty to take some weight of the bolt to be able to shoot normal 22s?
Will this hav an effect of the lifetime of the reciever?

in a world full of compromise some don't

Hi, how do you remove the stock 10/22 barrel from a rifle. Do you need a special tool? Thanks

What is the best ruger 10/22? I plan on buying a 10/22, but there are so many to choose from. I know that I want it to be staimless, and I'm going to put a scope on it. I plan on using it for squirrels and other small rodents. I will also shoot cans and different targets too. Any suggestions?? THANKS [:D]

I am puzzeled buy the prices I am seeing on all sites for mags for this gun. I can understand the banned mags of over 10 rounds but even the 10 round mags. are selling for over retail. I just bought a standard replacement mag at wallyworld for $6 and change. Are these aftermarket mags being taken apart and somehow increasing the capacity, and if so,just how is that being done? Thanks,Wade

there are several ways to make it "like" full auto.... gat trigger kit, hellfire trigger kit, bumpfiring, etc.... is this what you're talking about? these methods are all legal also (i believe) hope this helps

tinman: in response to your question, why would anyone want a full auto .22? the answer is simple....... the fun of full auto shooting at the price of a few bricks of .22 ammo. it's a lot cheaper than feeding my ar or my ak...

There is. Surf the Internet and you'll find some publications relating to this specific question. I think that's what I need for my California Ground Squirrel problem.

Depends on YOUR definition of FUN.

Quite a few of us here think 5 shots (at long range) through the same hole (accuracy) is fun. Others think that running 100 straight in Skeet is fun.

I think of a 10/22 full auto as a toy with limited application (and a waste of ammo).

But it takes all kinds to make the world go around.

To answer your question. Yes, it can be done.

    Legally. No

If you want a Class III, jump through the hoops and do it right and legally. It isn't worth the hassle, fine and jail time doing it any other way.
