Alright, this is the 4th try. Each gun gets smaller/lighter. Last one was a lady smith .357. What a beauty! "Too big, too heavy"[:(!]<<me
Anyway, I think .380 is the one. And I'm thinkin' Sig, but have never owned one. Suggestions on model or any other suggestions? Maybe a Glock 26? Never owned one of them either nor would I, but she might. Thanks

The P232 is a very easy gun to conceal. It has a couple different grips available so you should be able to find one that works. The blued model is very lightweight. It is as simple as a CCW can be, no safety, no lock back lever, very clean and slick. There are several pistols in this size and weight range. The P232 is one of the better ones. It has no major faults.

My wife had a Sig P230SL and loved it. We compared it to a Walther PPK and it was much smoother and had a great trigger pull. She decided to sell it when SHE decided that she wanted to upgrade to a 9mm. She now has a S&W 3913 Lady Smith. Nice gun. The Sig is a well built pistol that should fit the bill well.

Went thru all of this with my wife best suggestion is go to a range that has a large selection of rental guns she probably carries 30 pds in that purse started out with ruger sp 101 then went to ladysmith then the glock she didn't like trigger pull on that onewe rented the emp she fell in love with that one bright spot is that I gained several pocket guns for myself. Lesson learned let her pick it out herself it'll save you alot of money

All that i'm trying to say is look at several options the emp is what fit her we went thru several finally found range that had a very good selection of rentals I was amazed by 2oz difference in gun weight wasnoticeable with all the junk she carries in that purse it could be weapon in it's self[:D]

Not to throw a new wrinkle in it but my wife likes the Beretta Cheetah. She says she can hold that steadier than smaller gripped models.

+1 on the Beretta Cheetah. I have the Browning BDA that is made for them by Beretta. Check the auction side, sometimes they come up there.
They will give her 13rds. of 380.

I know she will not go for a double stack. It has been all about smaller and lighter. I feel that .380 is too wimpy but she jsut has no desire for a bigger heavier gun. If she says a .380 is too big/heavy, I am going to tell her to het 'em with her purse cause it would do more damage.
