Remington 870 Spec Ed. value???

I am curious as to the potential value of a factory special edition shotgun. Mostly for insurance reasons.

Remington 870 West Virginia State Police 75th Anniversary
engraved with 1919-1994 with banner on ejection side, and West Virginia State Police on the other side with a badge design. 1 of 250 produced in 1994 with premium wood, rifle sights and 20" barrel in box unfired with all orig paperwork still sealed in fact envelope.

    Hello If lucky the same amount as a Standard model 870 UNLESS he could find a newbe W.Va. trooper that wants one. Most people could care less and would not give extra . most likely Thousands of remington guns made up as specials both in and outside the factory.

    thats disappointing...HA and it is a wedding gift from my brother in law....but hey a free gun..is still a gun...thats free.

    marriage ain't free...but like an idiot I was gonna do that part anyways, the gun just makes it more appetizing[;)]

    you'd think i'd have learned after the first time....shoot me once, shame on you.......
