from your experience who makes a good quality fal/l1a1 rifle for 1100.00 or less? thank you

    I asked a FN rep on the fn forums if there was a chance we'd ever see a US made FN FAL and he replied that they don't even have the tooling but are happy to recommend DSA as the best FAL currently available to us.

    Of course, for $1100 you could also buy a really nice parts kit and either a DSA or Imbel reciever and have a 'smith put it together for you and have a little change left over (but not a lot)

    I'm mostly happy with my Century but the quality is here and there on them. Only issue with mine is the receiver is really tight with mags.
