AR Receiver End Plate Sling Adapters ?

1. Has anyone encountered the problem of making a receiver end plate sling adapter fit collapsible milspec buffer tubes? I recently discovered that a milspec buffer tube has larger diameter threads than commercial buffer tubes by about .015".

2. Is there a manufacturer that makes sling adapter to fit Mil-spec tubes or are they all made to fit commercial tubes these days and they need to be smithed a little to fit?

3. I thought about filing the inside of the end plate sling adapter so it would slide over the threads easier, but that will remove the phosphate coating on the inside of the adapter and leave it prone to oxidation. If I do file the adapter, is there a spray on coating to protect the filed surface?
