Ruger Vaquero 45 ACP Cylinder?

I have an Old model Polished SS Ruger Vaquero in 45LC that I really enjoy shooting and was wondering if anyone knew whether or not there was a mfg. that made a 45 ACP. cylinder to fit this gun? I have heard that the Blackhawks can be purchased this way, but haven't heard of the Vaquero with that option. If a company makes one, doe's it have to be "fitted" to the gun?

The "Old Model" or Original model Ruger Vaqueros and the Ruger Blackhawks are the same cylinder frame, so, should you find a Ruger 45acp cylinder it may or may not drop in, but any smith worth his salt could fit it for you.

I think Ruger will fit a cylinder for you also. Ruger 603-863-3300
