Whats the Diff Bersa Thunder or Firestorm .380 ?

Is the Firestorm a cheaper version of the Bersa ? Firestorm models say Bersa on them too ..

    Firestorm is a Trade Name originated by the U.S. importer/distributor, located in New Jersey. A number of different foreign manufacturers supply them with guns to be sold using the Firestorm name. The Bersa Thunder is just imported/sold by a different organization.

    Since the importer in New Jersey contracts with Bersa to manufacturer the guns, they can specify different features, finishs etc. This would enable them to sell the pistol at a cheaper price.

    Basically the Firestom has slightly different grips, and is less polished compared to the Bersa. Same gun otherwise, just not as pretty. Have shot both, and both are good guns for the money, but if you can afford it, go Bersa. I bought one for the wife in nickel and she loves it.
