Scope..moving it back

I would like to move my scope back another inch.
As you can see it is back as far as it can go using the Ruger factory rings.
Do I have another option for moving the scope back?

Ruger only has the front ring as offset, I need the rear one to be offset.
The gun is a standard Ruger M77 MKII.

It looks like you need both.Call Ruger,they can better tell you but it looks like front ring is low back ring is high.I'm not saying I'm right on this but I looked at mine and checked another set of rings I have and that is what it looks like.

Brownells sells a Weaver adapter base that is basically a mini base for the front & for the rear of the rifle. Gives you about 3 slots of front & back movement. I used one on a #1 and it worked fine. I tried to look it up in their on line catalog, couldn't find the thing but I'm sure it's there.

The additional range of eye relief is its plus as is being able to use standard weaver type rings. The negatives are it looks a bit out of place, the scope sits higher and your Ruger rings are not being put to good use.

I've got a set of bases that dfletcher mentions. Looks like it would set the scope rings back or forward about 5/8 inch from the mounting point of the Ruger rings. You would have to switch to weaver-style rings and get the correct height to compensate for the Ruger 77 differences in action/scope mounting height.
Tha base adapters I have are Burris # 410991. They specify that there are for Ruger No.1, 77/22/ 77ML as both adapters are the same height.

Judging from the peak of the comb and the position of the turret caps in relation to the center of the action. I would say it is already about an inch too far back now. If you have to crowd the scope to get a full field of view you need a shorter length of pull. the stock is too long for you. Rugers have a little longer LOP than some rifles.

If the scope isn't far enough back, you have two choices. One get an offet ring for the front, but most extend forward not backward. But you can turn them around to extend backward. Second option is shorten the rifle LOP one or two inches. Your choice.
