Sling/swivel attachment question

I just bought a sling and Uncle Mike's swivels. The sling ends are attached by what looks like to flat head screws. To attach the swivels, do I unscrew those screw heads? Because that is the only way I can put the sling through the swivel.

    Not sure, but I think you must have a sling with the ends loops held together by what's commonly referred to as Chicago screws.If so just seperate them,put your sling through and rethread them. If you are not familiar with "Chicago Screws look in Midway's on line catalog at items 819-162 or 112-545. Hope this helps, Bob
