Colt 1911 upgrade to 1911A1

Folks:I have a parkerized Colt 1911 ser# 5748xx which has neen upgraded to 1911A1 configuration.There are no arsenal rebuild marks.The trigger finger clearence cuts are present. Are these cuts unusual on a 1911 frame

I have seen a couple like that discussed on the 1911 specialist gunboards.
The concensus was that it is an outside alteration, there was no provision in arsenal rework to cut the scallops.

your pistol was built. end of 1918 the first trial 1911A1 were 1920 or later as a complete pistol Most likely not done by colt or military.
