1873 Trapdoor parade model value

Hello from the sunny and soaked south [8D],

(We're not as bad as you mid-westerners....wish you the best!)

I have a Springfield Trapdoor 45/70 nickel plated rifle that was used for parades etc. The barrel was trimmed down for ease of handling, but the gun is actually very nice with a serial number in the 69xxx range.

I's nickel and shortened...but it sure is pretty and original. Any idea as to possible value? Otherwise I just might add a new front sight and shoot the sucker (being careful of pressures).

As always, THANKS,
