Looking for information of a Browning BLR .358. Made in Japan. Straight stock, Browning marked redoil pad, hooded front sight, gold trigger, magazine marked: CAL.243 CAL.308 CAL.358 on end. Marked on barrel: BLR Caliber .358 only Patent NO. 3377731. Serial number 30548RPXXX. Barrel and receiver 95%, very good original finish wood. Is this a pre-81 model? and any idea of how common or uncommon the .358 is in a BLR? Last but not least, any value estimates? Thank you for your response.

I just perused this for my own .243 the other night.Blue Book says:
.358win by Miroku wasn't offered in that caliber 'til 1981. I would guess it would be less common than .243 or .308.
98% $550 95% $450 90% $325 Rarer calibers may or may not be worth more. Just depends on who is looking for it and how much they want it.
