Ok, Smith and Taurus have their 8 shot .357 revolvers. Now that Smith has this new x-frame for the 500 and 460, would it be possible to make a 7 shot 44 magnum? OR how about a 10 or 11 shot .357?

There isn't much new in the way of design. Materials and manufacturing on the other hand generally are better today.

Now that is one interesting handgun! Could you show a picture of the hammer? Does it shoot one shot at a time? I would like to know more about that thing. Very interesting to say the least.
Lots possible, but only some would be practical.

I know Hamilton Bowen has produced at least one .577 Snider revolver (on a Ruger frame I believe)... Practical? Nope. Neat as heck? ABSOLUTELY!!
