YOU PROBABLY WILL HAVE TO HAVE ONE MADE, FIND AN OLD 'BARRELED RECEIVER' BOLT ACTION FROM THE SEARS BUY-BACK AND HAVE THE BARREL RETHREADED.

After World War One ended there were thousands of German Mauser Model 98 rifles left over. Many of these guns were converted to shotguns by boring out the barrels to shotgun demensions. This also bored out the locking lug recesses for the bolt leaving only the bolt handle as a locking device. Many do not consider the guns safe to shoot especially in 12 gauge.

"converted to shotguns by boring out the barrels to shotgun demensions"........not true, there istn't enough 'meat' in a rifle barrel to 'bore' it out to a shotgun bore. most of these were made on new receivers (the germans had lots of idle machenery for this). the only problem with them is the bolt head is held on with spring tension from the extractor, the shotgun can be fired without the bolt head (once).
