Old Rossi pistol

Can anyone give me info on this little 22.

It is a Rossi Model 195. On the barrel it is stamped AMADEO ROSSI & CIA BAD LEOPOLDO
S/N: 602XXX

This revolver is called the "Rossi Princess". It was imported for a short time in the 60's prior to the enactment of the Gun Control Act of 1968. It was a knock-off of the S & W LadySmith revolver, unfortunately unlike the LadySmith, the Rossi was made of potmetal. Don't believe I've seen one nickel plated before.

Rufe is correct, but I have never seen one that WASN'T nickel plated!
If this gun were made today in an aluminum/stainless combination it would sell like crazy.

Thanks for the reply and info. Its an interesting piece and will keep it in the safe if nothing else just for the age of it.
