Weaver D-6. No crosshair or adjustments

What can any one tell me about a Weaver D6 scope without crosshairs, post, or dot, and without adjustments? It is LNIB and comes with a wooden base grooved to fit the tip-off rings. The bottom of the base has a bolt and wingnut. I thought it might have been designed as an inexpensive spotting scope to be mounted on top of a shooting box. What would one LNIB be worth? $35? Thanks for any information.

I had a D6 once but it had adjs and crosshair. Tube was 7/8 IIRC because I had to buy new rings as the B4 3/4 rings didn't fit. I think your on the right track for the one you have.

I have one like that, too. I haven't looked at it in a while so I don't remember what the mount system (if any) was like.
