Need to know about shotgun in family. 20 ga. double side by side, two triggers, 28 inch bbls. Parker Bros. Trojan. Serial #165269. Condition very good. Locks up tight, bores bright, no screws buggered, all original including butt plate....No recoil pad here. Handed down from Grandpa to Dad to son-in-law. What would be date of mfg.? Value? Can I check choke with Calipers? Has small ding in on one bbl. a few inches back from muzzle. What can you tell me about this one?

A 20 gauge Parker Trojan should be on an O frame, very light weight and quick handling. I sold a 16 gauge Trojan in about 75% condition for $1,700 on the auction side. I have a refinished Trojan on the auction side right now. As has been said, look at the completed auctions, it will give you a good guide line.
