Extended single stack magazine marked 38 Auto. on base and is approx. 12 3/4" long. Looks like it holds about 20+ rounds and appears to fit a 1911. What do I have? Value? Any Interest? Grumpy27@epix.net

Found this magazine. Haven't seen one before in 20 + years for dealing in magazines. 22LR holds 5, Latch cut out is in the back. Don't think it is Domestic US made. Any Ideas what this might fit?

I'm not aware of one, but I've seen the people here identify magazines with astonishing accuracy.

If you can post pictures, most likely someone will be able to identify it.

You can search by like image using images.google.com - just click the camera icon in the search bar, put in the URL of the photo (so post it online somewhere first) and search away.

    Magazine Identification Database

    For dealers, collectors, law enforcement

    About the database

In over 30 years of trading in firearm magazines I have not found
any reference material for identifying magazines, so I created my own database.

This database was compiled using INFODEX PRO database manager.
It includes 5 measurements of each magazine, images, description, and 23 sort indexes.
May be sorted on any field or combination of fields.
Fields are: Make, Caliber, Model, Rounds, Height, Width, Thickness, Latchpoint, Latchpoint inches,
Degrees, Description, and 2 image fields
The copy you will receive includes the trial version of
INFODEX PRO which will allow you to view but not add to the database.
The database is locked to prevent modification other than adding, changing or deleting
sort indexes. The database is frequently added to and upgraded with new
or additional information and now contains information on over 1200
    different magazines.

Available on CD, requires Windows Operating System,
    120 meg disk space.

    Price $155.00, free shipping.
all sales final, no returns. (cd's are easy to copy)

    Discount $40.00
if you send a magazine not already included in
    the database.
