I believe the old .32 rimfire ammo was outside lubed, with heal type bullets. Slug the barrel to find the groove diameter. If it runs larger then .311, you might have problems. Modern 32-20 ammo runs around .308 diameter.
Unless you have the funds and skill and equipment to do the work yourself? It doesn't seem practical, IMHO.
