Old Riverside Arms Co. Single Barrel Shotgun

Old folks. I have been racking my brian on-line trying to find out more info on the above shotgun. The gun is stamped "Riverside Arms Co. Chicopee Falls. Mass.". The only other markings anywhere are "Choked Bored" on the barrel and "B S 243". I have no freaking clue how to best date this gun with no serial numbers. I have broken the thing down to it's gut and cannot find anything. Can anyone tell me anything about this gun and/or it's history? I realize Stevens bought out Riverside, but cannot find any references on the internet to assist. Please hook a brother up! You can e-mail me at rbracco1@hvc.rr.com. Thanks

Bracco

Stevens did not 'buy out' Riverside. Riverside was a brand-name used by Stevens on mass-market shotguns. Your gun dates from c.1920 to just before WW2.
