ruger 96-22 stock

I'm looking for a stock to modify for a 96-22. I've compared that stock to a standard 10-22 but there's quite a difference in the action length. Is the 96-22 action the same length as a 10-22 magnum?

    I have worked on a couple of these and have not found a replacement aftermarket stock. I have modified the factory stock to a point. Replacement factory stock lists prices around $85.00.
