There are way to many black rifle makers out there. So If I wanted to buy a ar lower complete what should I pick? dpms, bushmaster, colt, ?, What are the pros and cons.

As long as they're built to the proper mil spec whoever's name is etched into the mag well shouldn't matter. Personal preference. Stay away from Vulcan/Hesse/Blackthorn, bad rep for quality.

I have 3 Stag lowers, used them on builds and everything fit well. It may be that using the same company lower mated to their upper is best as that could ensure a tighter fit.

My main concern is lower finish. I use the Stag because it has a durable finish that touches up nicely and has a flat, matte look with a touch of oil conditioning. The lowers that use a teflon coating look nice from the start, but if scratched the mark remains.
