Mauser M2 pistol?

I looked at one of these today,anybody know the good, bad,or ugly about them? A used gun with box and papers very good condition,$425.00. .40 cal

    It just has the Mauser name, Sig-Sauer actually make them. They have a turning barrel locking system, similar to the Beretta pistols. I personally wouldn't buy one unless I could test fire it, to be sure it was functional.

    They had bad feeling triggers and are now discontinued. You would be buying an orphan gun, which is not a bad thing unless they never sold many to begin with, which is the case with the M2. Unlike buying lets say a Walther P1 which was made for 40 years and in huge numbers.

    If you want something that uses that system get a Stoeger Cougar. They are nice guns for the 350-400 bucks you pay for them.
