Drill and Tap NEF SB2 10 gauge?

Is it possible to have a 1992 New England Firearms 10 gauge drilled and tapped for a scope? Does anyone know what the thread would be for the front bead? Is there an aftermarket place to buy a realtree camo stock?
I bought the gun a few years ago. I know it is not a top of the line gun. I thought I would make a little project out of it and make a nice turkey gun. I know it is probably a waste of time and money when you can already buy a brand new one with screw in chokes, drilled and tapped, and camo stock for a couple hundred. I bought a tactical stock and forend from advanced technologies for it when I first got the gun. Tired of my cheek bleeding after shooting it.[B)]

Don't even consider JB Weld for the job. I can see that now that with the recoil a 10 ga or 12 ga can produce the scope could eventually fly off.

I wanted to do the same but with a standard contour 12 ga NEF barrel. The gunsmith wouldn't drill and tap. I decided to silver solder the base on. I've test fired it about a dozen times with the gun strapped to a saw horse. Using 2 3/4" max dram loads I haven't been able to see any cracks so far. As advised it was a bit difficult to silver solder with MAPP gas so using acetylene would make it much easier.

Where, on the barrel did you silver solder?
