Hello guys, A bud of mine has a winchester 6000 he offered me for use,o/u multichoke, nice looking thing, & familiar to the eye. Did Winchester get some other company to make them, & what they like as areliable o/u ?? Thank you all.

    Probably a version of their Japanese made 101, for sale outside of the U.S.

    If it is a export model, not made for sale in the U.S.? Not likely many of our U.S. members will be knowledgeable about it.

    IMHO, it would probably be best to start with a GOOGLE search. If that doesn't produce the information you're looking for. There is a couple of shotgun specific collectors forums, you might query.

    5000 and 6000 are model numbers for the 101 sold in Europe. Parker Hale sold a Model 802? that was pretty much the same thing. Choke tubes should be Winchoke.
