I have an 1800's Double action Colt.
    barrel has Colt.D.A.41
    Black rubber grips
Numbers on frame, cylinder swing arm, and cylinder release is 988
bottom of grip frame has 12 over the numbers 213
It does have cylinder stop notches on it

    Barrel dates says PAT.aug 5,84 nov.6,1888

not sure what model. 1882 or 1889.(might have numbers wrong)

value not worried about due to it was re-blued prior to my purchase.
would like to get it looked at due to the heavy action and cylinder troubles...

It would really help, if we had all markings and serial number.

That said. It looks like a "New Army and Navy", model.
