the temp here, Minneapolis, on Wed will be -16 for the HIGH. Sat it will be +40. that's some serious temp swing.

    As the sun rises higher in the sky as winter wanes, cold snaps don?t last as long. In March 1993, we had a blizzard here in Virginia. 30 inches of snow and -4f.
    A week later it was 70*f.
