Looked unissued; I've put maybe 1500 rounds through it at ranges.

New milsurp barrel installed; I tested it with 50 rounds of Winchester white box and it shot to point of aim. Other than that it's still new. There wasn't a wear mark on it but it looked like it got a few rust spots in storage.

It's been taken apart by an amateur and the pins may eventually walk around a bit if not restaked. They stayed in place during the 50 round test fire.

The original barrel, which I threw out, had probably fatigued from the use of .312 bullets as it was pitted right inside where the barrel meets the chamber on top, and only there. Pitting can be caused by metal fatigue.

I mostly used the mild charges in the latest Accurate Arms data, not the old super hot charges people used to recommend for these things.
