If the Russians did try to influence our last presidential election, and I have no doubt they did just as I have no doubt we return the favor, but why would they want President Trump instead of Hillary?? Hillary had a track record of being a total whore when it came to selling out the United States and they had to know Trump would not do that. It makes no sense.

    The media needs a story and Hillary needed an excuse.
    Alot of people gave her a hell of a lot of cash, and she lost!

    The Russian bot and information effort was to cause discord, distrust, divisive platforms and turmoil between Americans regardless who won. By and large they succeeded.

    Either the Russians had better polling data than most, or they believed that Clinton was a lock. Yes they were sowing discord, but I?ve always thought the real intent was to weaken a President Clinton, not to elect Trump.

    As polarized as the election was, it is hard to imagine that very many votes were changed or would have been expected to have been changed.

    A weakened Clinton would ave been a patsy.
    Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

    The only thing they can do is make up garbage on social media and if you are influenced by social media as to who to vote for you probably shouldn't be voting.

    hillary is the one who used the russians and they used her back.

    I allways figured Hillary tried to double cross them after the info she bought and they turned the tables on her. My biggest point was what if they did try, was releasing the truth about her and her e-mails, ect. , really meddling. I would rather the truth come out no matter where or what country it came from. If our own media won't report it, maybe we need other countries to report it for them... to me this isn't exactly meddling, if they hacked into our voting machines, or power grid so voters couldn't make it to polls, or votes didn't get reported ect, that to me is meddling, reporting the truth should be acceptable no matter who, or what country does it

    As you recall Hillary made a deal with the Russians and gave them uranium. So yes if they were going to try to influence an election they would have tried to influence it for Hillary.

    BUT like I said what better way to discredit Trump and the conservative party by faking all of this and only throwing one election but giving the Democrats control for the next 50 years.

    The whole Democratic party and the Russians are in cahoots together.

Every poll showed her winning by a mile, and so they all assumed it would be safe to do, because she would be in power and make it all stay disappeared. Problem was, it was discovered and reported to Trump who then ended up winning and plans to cover it all up had to be set in motion.

    This is why Putin attacked the Clinton campaign. Not necessarily to support Trump, but to get revenge on Hillary.
    Hillary bad mouthed Putin in 2011 and he felt she contributed to protests against his election in Russia.
