Here is a stupid question.

(What a Surprise, right?) :o

Can I link in my other Subwoofer, or other speakers from my old system with my new system? Subwoofer on new system is 60w, 3 ohms. Main channel is 30w/ch 8 ohms.

Would have to look up/research ohms on old system speakers. (Nice Kenwood System.)

Probably F' things up?

If you keep the volume low you won't have any issue but running an 8 ohm amp into a 3 ohm speaker is going to be problematic at higher volume. You've got less resistance holding that power back and it's going to go pop if you try to get things bumping.
