Your response is very confusing? Back in the 70's, Browning went to a alphanumeric, serial number format. With the (2) capitol letters, in the center of the numbers. Being the actual DOM, (in code). If your serial number isn't in this format? Your shotgun was most probably made. Prior to the mid 1970's
