Top: Essential Arms with a Sig-Tac CP4 red/green BDC sight.
Middle: Ruger 5.56 with a Vortex Strikefire II sight.
Bottom: Kel-Tec PLR16 added handguard/muzzle brake with a Meprolight M20P sight (always on) via collection of ambient light or seamlessly transitions to Tritium X dot reticle.
(Looks like I have sizing issues with the distortion.) Not sure how to deal with that.

Good to see ya back my friend. Was wondering about ya.
Been back since we came back online. Posted to a few threads. This is first "New discussion," I've opened. Playing around with trying to post pics. I've noticed it seems to be about an equal mix of pics with distortion and those without. (?)
Those three look a lot better without all the distortion scewing dimensions.
Say your photo you posted to Mikes thread. Nice to put a face to a name/voice. (Buddy went and hid.)
Why is one Green? Did you paint it or is it cerecoated?
We spraypainted our AR's with a desert cammo paint pattern.

Matte OD Green Cerakoted, after being disassembled and bead blasted. Looks kinda shiny in that pic, but it is a matte finish. I like it.
PLR16, with the single point Voodoo Bungee sling tensioned out and away from you, handles like a SBR. Love the Meprolight sight. Highly recommend.
Wish the pick was not so badly distorted.
Ken I think someone fixed it for you. It looks fine to me.
Tell Buddy not to be skeered bro. All is well.
Nah,..................................................still major distortion. That muzzle brake on the top AR is about 2" long. (For reference.)
I get the distortion on my phone, but not on my laptop or desktop.

I figured the distortion was user equipment orientated. I am posting from a Tablet. Thanks Don.
As new features seem to be added hourly, Ken, I would think a mobile app will soon be coming which should correct the problem.

Ooooh! Shiny gun porn. Surprised you have not applied Ricci's brown water based coating so they would match all the guns you bought from him. 😄 It is distorted a bit on my tablet but perfect on my desktop. Bob
Nice
How do you like the PLR-16, Ken?
There is a wedge forearm grip that is available and from what I understand is a legal addition as it does not protrude 90° in a downward direction. I like the feel of the pistol better with this addition.
Truth be told, however, the bolt design of the Kel-Tec puts it out of the AR category.
Some of my ARs.
Much prefer the feel of the A1 size platform. Perhaps it is because that is what my Uncle let me play with for a few days early in my military life, and it feels comfortable.

Very nice collection, Ken!
I’ll try one, it came out ok on the temp FB page. One “actual size” the second "small" setting.
Love the PLR16. (I was waiting for the, "that is not an AR," comment.) I knew I would inevitably get it, when I posted this. It is a piston driven design. Innovative that Kel-Tec is, they wrapped the recoil spring around the piston, so no buffer tube protubing from the back. A novel and innovative feature. It takes AR magazines, is 5.56 - so I include it in my AR's. With this particular sight configuration, I would not want to be fired upon with it.
A $1200 set up as pictured. The M20P is $400 alone. One of my vehicle firearms. Resides in a Tactical Solutions Tactical soft case with 4-5 30 rounders, a 20 round mag, and the 10 round mag it came with. Very small portable highly potent combo. Meprolight M20P makes it deadly, tensioning it out with the sling enables it to be utilized similar to a SBR.
For those with distortion issues, someone here, (Don?) Said to tap the image. It works, distortion gone.
I’ll try a landscape type as well. So far so good.
Magazines top to bottom.
MSR on the Essential Arms. (Excellent.)
Thermold, (largest # of total magazines that I own.) A very good buy for the $$. IMHO.
Troy Industries on the Kel-Tec. A solid well built magazine. Have several.
I do not like Mag-Pul's. They bulge to the sides when loading. Thin walls. A media darling. Not for me. There are much better offerings out there.
Where did the preview go when posting a reply or new topic? It's nice to look in advance at what you're posting but now that function is gone or at least it is on my page.
The interface is now a WYSIWYG. It is it's own preview.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Thanks.
Thank you Sir.
Chris, the bottom one in your pic is a Ruger 5.56? Sure looks like it.
I took mine to the range once with a 100 Round Beta C-mag. An odd looking combination, but it worked well. I picked up a 50 round drum magazine a few years ago here on GB. Don't remember the brand, but it is a compact and stout little fellow and fits the PLR much better.
I have a low profile Bushnell holographic site on mine. If you are like me, the stock iron sites were difficult to use and achieve any level of accuracy.

Daniel Defense M4 profile Ken.

Hey Don, in your pic of your AR's - 3rd one from the right, cerakoted bronze?
(Also) If you would be kind enough to post a photo of your PLR16, I'd be most appreciative.
Anyone else here, own an Essential Arms AR? ( Technically a J-15.)
Thanks,
-Ken-
It appears to be a bronze anodized finish, Ken. It is a gas piston LWRC and has the factory finish. I will check my laptop for a photo of the PLR-16. Both are at the other house at present. I will be going out there tomorrow, and will verify.
Brad Steele
Thank You Sir. You are the only other Member I am aware of that owns a PLR-16. Curious to see how others have their's set up.
Two pictures of the PLR-16 with the 50 round mag, and heck, if the PLR is an AR, I guess the M249 is as well.🤔
Brad Steele
Is that a bag of Weed under the front tripod leg of that Ma Deuce? 😮
Gotta get the one point sling attachment for that PLR. Being able to tension it out and away from you completely changes how you can fire it, and accuracy. IMHO
When the zombie apocalypse hits I'm heading to Don's house. He's gonna need help shootin' all those nice guns!
Not only does he seem to have a very nice high powered collection, he apparently has large bags of Weed, laying about.
Yes, I am in like Flynn.
Don't harsh my mellow, dude.🤫
It is like, important to remain clam during a zombie apocalypse. A little herb takes the edge off.
It is also most excellent in a dry rub on a slow roast pork loin. Equal quantities with sea salt, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder.
None of that establishment BBQ sauce. The processed sugar will counter the beneficial effects.
Brad Steele
I am remaining Clam. I have the utmost respect for your collection. (Even more so,) Knowing you have large bags of Weed laying about, in order to bolster your Ma Deuce.
