    Surprised me that TB comes in a pound size container, yet it’s full at 9 ounces. Fluffy stuff, eh ??
    Now, if I can figure out how to put a ‘primer’ in the bottom of that test tube,,,,,, ;)

    what goes around comes around. last year I 'pulled down' a Rem. .38/56 wcf ( 1930's vintage) cartridge for testing. the powder looked just like t.b.

    Both "lightning" and "sharpshooter" look like this also. (Laflin and Rand)  Powder from a 38-56 was most likely Lightning.  That was intended to be a replacement for BP in cartridges that used jacketed bullets.  Sharpshooter was also a replacement for BP but intended for cartridges that still used lead bullets.
