Cancel an auction

if item was sold locally through local website and auction wasn’t removed but then got a bid, how can that bid / listing be cancelled by the seller? The item is no longer available. Sold over a week ago when there were no bids but forgot to remove listing.

Once a bid has been placed an auction cannot be canceled.

One reason I never sold items listed on GB in the store. If a customer came in and wanted to purchase an item and we agreed on a price AND there were no bid I probably would have canceled an auction and sold in the store. I can't remember that ever happening.

Email customer service and ask them for help.

I think you'll need to work it out with your buyer.  You could luck out and have the buyer fail to pay!  At the end of it all you will be able to communicate with the buyer.  Explain the situation.  Worst that can happen is he leaves you negative feedback.  If he does, grin and bear it.
