I got sick and tired of the Snapper riding mower that I have beating me up and went to the John Deere dealer yesterday and bought a new zero turn mower.

Congrats. on your new mower bullshot.
I apparently lucked out. (A year or so ago,) I bought an "End of Season" deal on a Poulan Pro riding mower from our Local Farm Store. Told em' "I'm buying a lawnmower today. I would rather buy it from you than Lowes. What can you do for me?" Got a good deal. (Maybe $500 off.) Turns out it has Husqvauarna stickers all over it once you open the hood, rear seat, deck, etc. 6 speed trans. This thing will flat out haul *.
(And) You are right US Military guy. This place is a plethora of knowledge and information.
Yes US Military Guy. This place is Full of It. 🚾
Opinions, I mean. 😉
and I would bet ricci would agree..
Who is this "Ricci," you speak of?
Took it back the next day and bought a "lawn tractor" with a locking differential.
On my hillside the zero turn was too top-heavy and around the trees the branches would grab handle and turn mower, or if I turned loose of handle to keep branch from slapping my face it would also turn.
So back to old style Husky (because that's the brand my favorite small engine dealer carries) and I've been very happy with it.
