My baby girl got engaged.

Her beau came to the house about two weeks ago and ask us first for her hand, which I thought was a classy move. ( he is a really good kid, comes from a really good family). So Saturday night we threw them a a small engagement party, about 60-70 people, here at the house. We had a a big tent top put up outside and a portable hand washing station hooked up. It was really hot here Saturday so we had lots of fans brought in. We tried to social distance but you know how that goes. Great spending time with family and friends especially for such a happy occasion. Anyway they are both teachers still working on furthering their education and we are really excited for them.

    She doesn’t want an over the top wedding but she wants a three week honeymoon in Europe and a down payment for a house. So the wedding will be modest.
