I always take a picture every year from this angle about the time all three crops are up, viable and looking good. My hope now is for a few timely rains, some heat at the right time and a decent outcome in Oct/Nov.

Never had any large crops here on the farm except for hay and rocks.
Doing fried green tomatoes this weekend for Independence Day celebration at my daughter from another mother's in Arkansas.
Grew that log here on the farm, harvested to make rounds for #3's baby shower last year. Remnant is now landscaping, redneck style.
That view is my backyard and I love it. Nature's drive-in movie theater. Something new playing daily.
The wide variance in crop condition is a bad omen IMHO.
