w.hat is the best method  to open a choke on a fixed choked bbl. Have a full choke want to open up to a imp cyl. I have told you need to go from the breech end of the barrel with a mandrell not the front end

Small diameter, brake cylinder hone, available on Amazon for<$20. Being it's a shotgun, don't see any reason working from the breech end of the barrel. Long as the hone, is used concentric with the axis of the barrel. Don't see, how accuracy or pattern will be adversely affected.

Opening a choke in fixed barrel that much, you're going to run out of barrel. If it's chrome lined, you're going to have a bad day, and trash a good barrel. I would talk to Briley Chokes to see what is feasible with the barrel in question first.

the best option is to put in 'screw' in chokes (win choke, rem choke, ect) an expandable reamer is fastest, the brake cylinder hone will take several days (  ;-)  )

Depending on your desired end result, maybe shorten the barrel a few inches?

Oh ok, that's good to know. Then just measure the barrel ID and cut it at the desired size.
