It seems to me every time I make a bid it goes up $2 or so ,before I can even confirm it, like, automatically, seems to fast...

It is called proxy bidding. Lets say there is an item on the auction, and the current price is $5.00, with a bid increment of $1.00. Lets say I bit $25.00. The bid on the item does not automatically jump to $25.00, it jumps to $6.00 with the dollar bid increment. Now you come along and you see it is $6.00, so you bid $15.00. Well the bid price now goes to $16.00, and I still have high bid, because I bid $25.00, and you only bid $15.00. So now if you come back with a $30.00 bid, the price goes to $26.00, and now you have high bid.
