I reload many pistol and rifle loads, including 25 ACP. Lyman used to make a 25 ACP gauge but no longer. If anyone has a Lyman 25 ACP gauge (or any 25 ACP gauge) they no longer use, Im looking to buy it off you.
Not sure if this is what your referring to? But in semi-auto pistols with removable barrels. I use the barrel as a gauge. It's commonly known as the "plop" test. Drop your reloaded round into the barrel. It should bottom out into the chamber with no interference. Same, same as a factory loaded cartridge.

Agree, your barrel is as good as a gauge as you can get.
Drop around in and it should be flush with the chamber.
