Actually it's the Winchester XPR rifle.

There are a couple of good details which Winchester built into this rifle:

    The 3 - lug bolt.

Note the fact that the 3-lugs allow for a shorter bolt lift. The bolt body itself is what we refer to as a 'constant diameter' or one diameter for the entire bolt except for the relief machined in just behind the lugs. This allows for shortened lugways, saving manufacturing costs. The idea has been around for about 60 years and gets recycled frequently now.

The bolt body is coated with nickel Teflon allowing it move smoothly and freely in the bolt way. The action body is nitrided providing a toughness for the action. The action uses a steel recoil lug.

The action also uses Detachable Box Magazines which hold 3 cartridges. This keeps the mag depth closer to the ideal of a flush fit. Two are included with each rifle.

While I am not enamored with the stock, it is certainly right in there with the current trend of injection molding stocks.

I think it's a better idea than most of the other inexpensive entrants.

    Best.
