Why do I have watchers for a fixed-price item?

Hello all, I am new to GunBroker here and to online selling in general. I decided to set up a little print-on-demand service for reproduction bolt-action receivers I've modeled to make some money while I'm sitting around trying to get a job, and I'm selling through GunBroker. I set up all the item listings, fixed-price only, $22 apiece, about five days ago.
Maybe this is normal, maybe not...I've gotten no sales but a number of watchers on several items. But why would there be watchers for an item selling only at a fixed price? Isn't that something you'd only do for auction items?

I have seen a lot of watchers on my auctions most of them do not buy. A fixed price auction is the easiest to purchase, there is no need to put it on your watch list but for some strange reason folks do it.
I think putting things on watch-list is like bookmarking a webpage and reminds people of what they were interested yesterday
at least it does for me
This is the answer most commonly accepted. It helps them remember what they found and where it's located, a bookmark.
Best.
The "watch" is being used a a place holder. The buyer is interested, but still shopping the item around.
Or, "That's a gun just like mine. I want to know how much it sells for."
all the above reasons for me
Makes a lot of sense. Many people do not buy something the first time they see it. They want to think it over, maybe see what else may be available before they make a decision.
just maybe you will drop the price
Or, maybe because you are a new seller & folks want to check out your feedback so that they verify that you are honest.

All of the above for me - especially nmyers response at this moment in time. I have been bitten recently and tend now to be somewhat suspect of no or very limited feedback.
