Ran into the thrift shop the other day, didn't find what I was looking for but did spot this for a song! Can't wait to try it in my BSA.

You must have better thrift shops around you than I do. That is a cool find. Years ago I remember seeing a whole series of 22 adapters advertised. If I recall correctly they even made them for shotguns. Bob
Accelerator round comes to mind, I still have a few around for my 30-30. .22 caliber round set in a plastic sabot loaded into a 30-30 shell. They literally disintegrated when they hit paper at 100 yrds
One thing leads to another. Now I am going to have to look for a Savage 24 in 20g/222.😉

There are a bunch of caliber adapters around. Some for shotguns as well.
I believe there is a article on them in the new "Rifle" magazine.
