There are certain roles that I can't imagine another actor playing the part other than that one originally cast for the role. Travolta in Pulp Fiction is one instance. Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump is my pick for the all time nobody else could have played that character as well as Tom Hanks did.

About all I can say is that ole Alec casts a much bigger shadow now days then he used to!
Like Jules he too had an "A.D." but unlike Jules Alex can't blame a bump in the road.
He is a Lib and a wacko, but he was a very good actor. He was great in Hunt for Red October.
