I got this in a large lot of gun parts and do not know what it is. It is marked WINCHESTER with the R in a circle. I would like to know what it is and an approximate value. Thanks in advance.

I am beginning to think it might not be a "gun part" at all. I have spent about an hour and a half of my life going through things and come up with zero. Winchester put there logo on a lot of things through the years including roller skates.
I too have tried searching the web for this. Used both key words and visual search of the item. Come up with zero. Got me really curious as what it is.
Can Someone still contact Bert?
Could it be a cartridge guide for a loading assist device?
How about a floor plate/ magazine cut off to render a bolt action to single shot. Seriously I have no clue.
