I just got called "sport" by a retired Colonial
His box couldn't ship because the address on the FFL wasn't recognized by the US Postal service.....for some strange reason you had to insert "West" in part of it to get it to work. How were we supposed to know this mess??? Plus, its technically not on the FFL so I'm not supposed to ship it to this address. We worked around it and got it sent out last week. He emailed today with a MAJOR attitude and I gave that same "vibe" right back to him. His next reply started with "Listen Sport".....after a few messages back and forth he calmed down, but seriously.....if you do all you can, nobody replies to messages, you can't get anyone on the phone.....how much am required to care?
Its looking like tomorrow is going to be a BUSY day. I hope I can avoid getting called anything like sport while dealing with all of it.

I have been called worse. In one ear and out the other.
You ought to try writing editorials for a newspaper. You quickly learn that you can't please everybody.
Shipping guns to non existent addresses is a huge risk. I haver done it, but only when I know for a fact that the address is genuine. Bigdaddyjunior's FFL dealer apparently didn't exist, yet packages always managed to arrive at the unknown address. Even so, discretion is the watchword.
I wonder how many forum members will start calling you "sport", Kasey.
😂
Um,,,,,, I should probably think longer and harder before I ask this question but, what's a "retired colonial", Sport?
My county of residence uses all numbers for road names. I just happen to live on 39 1\2 Road. The number of times trying to get things shipped to me but failed because the numbers do not work in some systems. Not really sure why but have had some success by either writing the number out as Thirty Nine and a half or just by changing the slant in 1\2 to 1/2. Pretty stupid if you ask me but it would be nice if I could change my road name to commemorate some early local veteran or a cool bird or something!!!!
You should have written back and said "That's MRS. Sport to you, Sonny!"
That'd give him something to think about...
"My county of residence uses all numbers for road names. I just happen to live on 39 1\2 Road."............you gotta be from Colorado..........39 1\2 miles to Utah
With that "vibe" it is better to be called sport than private.😁
refer to him as skippy,,
yeah, but just think Kasey, you wouldn't be the first to give him the bird.................
We made up before it was all over. I swear, its the little hiccups that give you more fits than anything.
still waiting to learn what a "retired colonial" is...........
I mean...........I might be a "colonial" sine my ancestry is European.........but I am not retired yet
I don't think anybody caught it... 😂🤣😂

He is excused I guess. Old age. Just another Full Bird that served in the Continental Army.------------------------Ray
Retired colonial? So, he used to be British?
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Probably this guys ancestor;
Bob
Speaking of sports, how did that foot ball game go Saturday, the one with 4 over times, go for you?😲
Oopps, studdered
What I want to know is, how come Johnny Depp is in that painting?
Which one is Johnny? or Gilbert Grape?
When everyone else carries a gun, I am always the guy with a pointy stick.
