First pic from Jackson Hole

It was dark by the time we landed. So got the obligatory pic under elk antlers.

Have a great time!
Did you slip across the street to the Cowboy and sit on a saddle and have a toddy?

I liked the Wort better. but that was 45 years ago.
I agree, only time I’m ever in the Cowboy is when we have friends visiting and want a tee shirt or ball cap.
My favorites was the Rancher to drink and Leejays to eat both sadly gone.
I just hope Susie has a fun trip.

Great. Watch a sunrise on the Tetons from the top of shadow mountain. Wish I had a video of that morning.
Thanks for sharing.
That is where we had dinner last evening. We sat at the teeny slab tables. Didn't want to get thrown off a horse my first day in town. I did partake of the Grand Teton Colter Run Bourbon, neat.
The morning agenda is a snowcoach ride into the Tetons. Should have a bajillion pics this afternoon.
Wow!
🙂🙂🙂
Wow, that's just awesome! Hope you have a wonderful time.
Spending time with friends in some of the most beautiful country on God's earth. We're green with envy here.
Very Purty
No sunrise since its snowing to beat the band. Saw moose, elk, eagle, heron, duck, mule deer, raven, and lots of snow.
We have a 4 hour Sunday trip when it is supposed to be party cloudy. Hopefully we get a good sunrise and more wildlife.
I see they finally mastered the trick of "stacking antlers". It used to be a lot less impressive.
I think you will have a little better visibility for a bit this morning, but the cloud base will probably be too low to see the Peaks (Tetons).
Glad to hear you saw a few local critters.
Awaiting your next update .
in case you didn’t know, Snow King puts a flare/glow stick skiing show on this evening as does JHMR not long after it gets dark.

Traveling companions had scoped that out so we plan to watch it this evening. Have dinner reservations at 8 at the Silver Dollar. Other than that, today is our lazy day.
Have another Tetons tour Sunday morning and weather looks much more promising. Tomorrow we are taking a sleigh ride into the elk refuge.
We are ready with snowsuits/insulated bibs, coats, boots, balaclavas, snow gloves, chemical warmers, blankets and sunglasses.
balaclavas.......Now there you go susie! Expanding my limited vocabulary once again! 😁
Isn't that a Greek pastry?
yes! sugar on top of sugar with a little sugar added...........
Lol, I don't think baklava would keep my face warm at all.
