On the top right of the rear of the slide, just behind the rear sight there is a screw. Whats it for?
Thanks , Tom

get on u tube and ask for "disassembly" of said pistol, lots of videos. just went through one. the right video takes it down to bare bones.
Just found it. It is refered to as a "wear plug" Tom
The wear plug is pressed into the slide so don't remove it.
The wear plug is the seat for the elevation screw of the Davis adjsutable sight. Although the Sport Kings came with a fixed rear sight, High Stadanrd offered an adjustable rear sight kit that consisted of the Davis adjsutable rear sight and a taller front sight to match the heiaht of the rear sight.
Thank you Mr. Stimson. Tom
