LEXUS 450HL hybrid. It left Japan on 07/21, suppose to arrive at the dock in Florida on 8/15. Guessing we will be able to pickup around sept. 1st.

Lexus makes nice stuff!
yes, they certainly do.
They are nice, my wife drives an RX350
NICE!
We went with the RX450HL. We wanted the third row seating and Wifey wanted the hybrid feature.
We had an RX350 for my wife, and she loved it. But she loves her new Toyota Highlander Hybrid even more.
I'm happy with my truck ......... 😉
Wifey was driving an Audi convertible. So when the grandbabies starting coming about 2.5 years ago. She needed something that she could carry grandbaby in when they needed help. Wifey hates driving my Expedition max “that truck is just too big”.
So, we added a used Avalon to the fleet for those times when she needed to transport baby. Now we have two grandbabies so "Lets sell both of your cars and get you a midsized SUV".
I flew down Friday to central Florida to pick it up and drove it home Saturday
Sweet ....................
Very sharp! Holler next time you’re in Central FL.
Looks like that cool ride can take some sharp angles from those pics austin! 😁
How far do you live from central Florida? (not going to assume you live in Austin TX)
Thanks, will do. I flew into Florida west coast and did the deal on the new vehicle then drove over to The Orlando area where my sister lives. We went to dinner and I spent the night with her. Got up early Saturday morning and drove 850 miles home
I'm betting your gasoline costs for the trip were pretty low. We go 300+ miles on eight gallons in our Highlander Hybrid. Yours is a lot more aerodynamic.
Brook- I live in Louisville,Ky
Rocky- About 27 miles to the gallon but I was driving 85-90 everywhere I could.
had to give her a quick wash this morning.
Probably the best cars for the money. They hold their value much better than the overpriced, overrated junk from Europe.
Everyone I know who drives a Lexus have told me they would purchase again
Me to BUT I don’t know anyone that we’ll healed -)
You could have stopped by and said hi. Next time your down this way we will all have to get together. Oh, nice car.
You guys suck. I showed my wife all the pretty new cars y'all are gettin' and now she's lookin' at hybrid F-150's. Thanks a lot, ya jerks!🤨
I thought they done better on fuel mileage
Gary, I thought about you two guys as I drove across I-4. But, this was a quick trip. Next time I’m down there we gotsta have breakfast together again. This time my treat.
Thanks, it is very comfortable and quiet.
NOPE, no way, not here
Toyota makes a good vehicle.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Rocky, You are definitely getting better mileage in your Highlander hybrid than Wifey's Lexus hybrid.
Your Highlander hybrid must be the 4 cylinder with 243 horsepower. Wifey's Lexus hybrid is the V6 308 horsepower and I believe the Lexus is about 500 pounds heavier than the Highlander?
